The fantastic Lion Learners are back at Bookfest!
Clare will lead an ethical, educational and exciting animal experience where children (and adults!) can meet, handle and learn about animals from around the world. She brings literature quite literally to life, by allowing you to meet the animals from your favourite stories.
Clare has plenty of experience working with animals and children. She has cared for rescued elephants in Thailand, built sanctuaries in Ecuador and been a bird of prey handler and demonstrator in the UK. Conservation and animal welfare are crucial to Clare and most of her animals are rescued or re-homed.
