Experienced educator with a passion for motivating children to read and write, Polari-Prize-winning Ian Eagleton founded the Reading Realm and has dedicated himself to activism in the spheres of mental health and LGBTQ+ rights.
In this fun-packed poetry workshop, Ian will read extracts from his book Glitter Boy, an unforgettable story about a boy facing up to bullying – and his own truths. Ian will help children to write their own poems like James in the book, giving them the chance to tell their own stories about the things that are most important to them.
